About Me
From a small town in far West Texas, to the Pacific Northwest and now South Texas, my love of eating and cooking has traveled with me and been a guiding force throughout my career.
When I graduated from Oregon Culinary Institute in 2011, I wanted to find a way to fuse what I loved about cooking and what I knew about connection and the human experience to find my corner in the food scene. After years of experience in restaurant cooking, hospitality, and culinary instruction, private cooking has given me that opportunity.
The ability to work directly with someone and their food is something I deeply appreciate. I love that I get to be a part of a client’s life within my role; food is personal and I feel so lucky that I spend my days using my knowledge and craft to make sure each meal is suited to each moment.
When I’m not cooking, I love spending time outside with my dogs, or dining inside a good restaurant with my husband. I’ve been a long time hiker and runner and have recently started kayaking! I love to explore beautiful museums and libraries close to home and while traveling.
